1996 - Tomb Raider brakes records in sales and charts
Tomb Raider, after being released in the late 1996, broke records in almost everything! As one of the first, but most successful, women in the gaming history hit no1 in UK, US and whole Europe, and until now, selling a number of over 8 million copies.
1997 - Adventures of Lara continue in another hit game
After the number of near 8 millions copies sold, the creators and the team continued Lara and her adventure in Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft (The Dagger of Xian), and surprisingly, but true, the reached almost as the same numbers as Tomb Raider I!
1998 - Tomb Raider III, third best selling TR game
With 5,9 million copies sold
2006 - Best Original Score
Tomb Raider: Legend, the game that put Lara back on the track, won an award for "Best Original Score" on the BAFTA video-games award ceremony. Tomb Raider: Legend was also nominated for other two awards:

2006 - The Most Successful Human Video Game Heroine
On 7th if April, right after the release of Tomb Raider: Legend in Europe, "Guinness" was claimed Lara Croft as the most successful human video gaming heroine, not only because she is Croft (and everything we know about her), but because she changed history, and ever after 10 years (now 15) she's even more famous and popular.
